Iconic fashion boutique, Browns, commissioned custom Spelk risers as part of their programme of Conscious Makers installations. This celebrated their edit of consciously considered fashion collections, including Prada’s ReNylon.

The idea was to create almost marble-like blocks, but using this modern engineered material, to mirror the traditional ornate architecture of the Browns Brook Street flagship boutique combined with its cutting-edge design, a striking restoration of the Grade II listed building by revered architects, Dimorestudio.

The custom Spelk colourways reflect the store’s high impact palette, with contrasting tones accentuating the wild pattern of the wood’s natural grain.
